NEW! - Full tile and resize table & mini views.
Download the new Full Tilt Poker software and try their new tile and resize tables feature. You can stretch each window to your own preferred size to simultaneously view as many tables as you need. This is a brilliant update from Full Tilt, which has been extremely well received by the online poker community.

Play, chat and learn from the Pros.
Established in 2004, Full Tilt poker has an unrivalled band of poker pros playing exclusively on their site. The Full Tilt team includes, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman, Phil Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Clonie Gowen, Andy Bloch, Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen and Allen Cunningham. That's not including a long list of other professionals who also play there. Any time one of the pro's is playing at a table, it shows up in red in the lobby - you try not going to have a look, it can become addictive! One question - does Mark Vos ever sleep?

There are regular scheduled live chats with the pros where you can quiz them on the intricacies of the game. You can read all the transcripts of previous chats on their website, which also contains a fascinating series of Tips and Lessons from the pros.

Full Tilt's independent software is packed full of features. You can choose your own preferred background, as well as a new racetrack view instead of the classic round table view. Their cartoon avatars have emotion options, letting the table know how you feel. If you earn enough FTP's (Full Tilt points) to become a VIP you even have the option of having a custom avatar made! There's also a lovely little feature building on the traditional notes system where you can colour code your opponents - very useful. There's also a full range of European languages supported (see the list on the left hand side for details).

WSOP 2008 (World Series of Poker) at Full Tilt Poker.
From 1st March until 22nd June you are invited play for a $12k prize package and join Team Full Tilt at the poker event of the year WSOP 08 in Las Vegas, USA. That's $10,000 for your buy into the main event and $2,000 for your travel and expenses and there will be at least 15 prize packages up for grabs each week until the promotion ends on 22nd June. These are open for all players to enter and is in addition to the exclusive WSOP 2008 Pokernews freerolls which are only open to players who have used the Full Tilt Referral Code FTPGOLD when they open an account at Full Tilt for the first time.

There are four weekly cash qualifiers in the Main Event Guarantee Tournaments. On Wednesdays at 2.00am GMT (Tuesdays at 9.00pm ET) there are two seats guaranteed to be won and the buy in direct is $200 + $16. The Wednesday $300 Main Event Guarantee Tournie offers two seats, buy in $300 + $35 at 9.30pm GMT (4.30pm ET), the big one is on Fridays with five seats at least to go and the buy in direct is $1K + $60, 2am GMT (Thursday 9.00pm ET). Two prize packages available on Sundays, buy in $500 + $35 at 9.30pm GMT (4.30pm ET). Satellites and qualifiers for these tournaments run throughout the week and start at $2 + $0.25 or 50 FTPs.

For those players who prefer sit n go's there is the Main Event Race where there are round the clock sit and go freerolls. By the time the race is run Full Tilt will have given away 50 seats. Want to take a short cut? Make you first real money deposit or refer a friend and you will speed to the round 2. Sprint to your main event seat by earning 3,000 or more Full Tilt Points (FTPs) in a qualifying week and take your seat at the freeroll final!

There is a lot more to WSOP 08 than the Main Event and Full Tilt recognise this by holding the daily Race for Bracelets for the 53 other events where coveted WSOP bracelets are on offer. The prize packages are worth $2k, $1,500 for the approx buy in to your chosen event and $500 for expenses and each day there will be at least one package won with the buy ins ranging from $24 + $2 to $69 + $6 or you can satellite your way in for as little as $2.25 or 50 FTPs.

As a one off on 15th June at 11.00pm GMT (6.00pm ET), if you haven't managed to win yourself a seat by then, there is the 150 seat Main Event Guarantee where the top 150 finishers will all get a seat, just goes to show being first isn't always the only way! Buy in direct for $500 + $35 or you can satellite in for as little as $2 + $0.25.

There is also a crown to be won, do you fancy yourself as King of the WSOP? Well, here's how you do it. Win more prize packages than anyone else to claim your crown, beat last years record held by RacOOn of six packages and Full Tilt will top up your bankroll by $25,000, that's in addition to the $12,000 cash you'll be credited with for every surplus prize package you win. At WSOP you will have full royalty status, first class flight from anywhere in the States, Limo transfer from airport to your hotel where you will spend the duration in a suite all courtesy of Full Tilt Poker, oh yes, and the Avator of your choice will have a crown to let fellow players there is royalty at the table!

Now, we would all love to win the Main Event and don't need much of an incentive to try, but win your seat through Full Tilt, wear their team colours and the $10 Million Main Event Mania kicks in. Yes, win the Main Event WSOP 08 as a member of Team Full Tilt and they will be so very proud of you that they will give you $10m! Seriously life changing.

Looking ahead, you are also getting the chance of a WSOP 09 seat and a lot of fun too. Fantasy Poker League is here. Do you think you know which poker professionals are going to shine brightly at this years event, well, pick your team of 15 from the list of 250 professionals you will find on the Full Tilt software. Just click onto Cashier, my promotions and then Fantasy Poker link, your team might be a fantasy but the Full Tilt merchandise and seat at WSOP 09 is certainly very real.

Tournaments.
There's a guaranteed weekly prizepool of over $8 million at Full Tilt, so even though the weekly Sunday $750,000 guaranteed starts 11pm GMT (4pm ET), there's still plenty to interest the European players. I found the MTT tournament lobby a little frustrating as the guarantees and satellite details aren't displayed until you click each tournament listing, I hope this is sorted out in the next upgrade. There is an attempt at colour coding the tournaments, but I found them to be a bit vague and inconsistent. Despite that, I would still highly recommend Full Tilt for tournament players as there's an immense amount of choice, with buy-ins to suit all budgets.

The Sit n Go's at Full Tilt receive a lot of traffic 24/7, there's a choice of multi-table or single table Sit and Go's at all levels. With even the high stakes tables starting regularly around the clock.

Full Tilt have introduced Bust out Bounties where you play Poker with your favourite pros from Team Full Tilt and if you knock them out of the Tournament you win back your buy in and a bounty of up to $200 for knocking out more than one. The action is happening at any of the Full Tilt scheduled multi table cash tournament (easily identified by being marked with a K in the lobby) with 30 or more players. If you knock out a member of Team Full Tilt then Full Tilt will send you a T shirt to prove it and to wear with pride to your next home game.

Fancy some late night action? Well head for Full Tilt's ever popular Midnight Madness at (yes, you've guessed it) 12 Midnight ET (5am GMT). With a guaranteed prize pool of $15,000, and the first 216 in the money, there's no shortage of players willing to hand over $10 + $1 to test their skills in the midnight hour.

Ever popular and ongoing, the Winners Choice tournaments are where you can win a seat of your choice to prestigious WPT or EPT events with a prize package worth $12,000. Play in the weekly qualifying tournament at 2.00am GMT (Sat 9pm ET) on Sunday mornings with a buy in of $200 + $16, or satellite in for as little as $4 + $0.40.

Cash games.
I've read in most other reviews that the Full Tilt cash games have a lack of players. Not so at all! The site gets a huge amount of cash game traffic, plenty of choice for multitablers even out of peak hours. There's even a decent amount of traffic at the Omaha, 7 Stud and Razz tables. Recently introduced are the 'mixed game' tables where you can battle it out in the game range of your choice. For high stakes players, whatever your game, Full Tilt is a must.

Promotions.
FTOPS VIII, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series is back again with over $12million in guaranteed prizes. The series starts on May 7th and continues until the 18th. There are 24 events all hosted by a pro and satellites are running now for as little as $2.25. Learn more and see the full FTOPS schedule on our Poker Blog

Full Tilt Poker have an active promotions program rewarding their most active players with some great options. Their Iron Man challenge is well under way again for 2008 and is a great way to reward the Full Tilt regular players. Your Iron Man status relates to how many FTP's you have collected in any one month. Play regularly enough and you'll move up through the ranks eventually achieving Iron Man status. Each level achieved permits you to join a monthly freeroll ($10k - Bronze, $15k - Silver, $20k - Gold and a massive $30k for Iron Man status). The winner of each freeroll will go on to play in an exclusive 4 person Sit n Go for a prize of $5k. The champion of the Sit n Go will then go on to play 3 pro's in a heads-up match with the possibility of walking away with an additional 100k. If you'd rather not take part in the freerolls you can collect Iron Man Medals which you can exchange for cash, tournaments entries or even your own private table.

Competition.
As you imagine with all the pros playing at Full Tilt, the competition is quite tough. However, if you hang out at the lower levels the competition is around average but I've been lucky enough to find some very soft games at the 25c/50c to $1/$2 range.
